Yes - that could very well be.True, but my point is that he's got a broken vertebrae in his neck and we both know that's the first thing that went through his mind when he found out.
IMHO still frame photos, and watching the play over, and over again in slow motion only makes Chara out to be a monster, and gives ammo to those who believe he intentially tried to injure Pacioretty by ramming his head into the "turnbuckle".
When ya watch it in "normal" speed I am of the opinion the 2 players were fighting for the puck (both had their heads down, and were whacking away at the puck) while skating as fast as they could; just that things went bad as Chara rubbed Pacioretty along the boards, and taking their forward momentum into play - he unintentially rode him into the stanchion.
