GDT's sure are hilarious. Howard better score a hat trick now.

Plus a Gordie Howe hat trick or he's off the team!

Rather have him making a game saving save. When's the last time he had a shutout?

When's the last game he hasn't faced impossible shots or not been absolutely left out to dry by the defense at least once?

I guess some people just see "LOTS OF GOALS" and don't bother looking at context.

I've always wondered how many people on here have actually played hockey

Probably the last time you contributed something useful to this site instead of a bitchfest. Get over it goalie expert.

Ask Crymson. He's the hockey guru apparently. He knows all. He's actually Mike Babcock on his laptop.

Perfectly placed wrist shot. What's the hyperbolic debate about? FFS? Get over it man

Yet Eastern goalies don't have a problem with it...

Some goalies overcome that and win the game for their team. Even rookie goalies do that. But I bow to your superiority.

Man, when Kindl puts it all together, he's going to be pretty awesome.

Just saying that I'm worried about our goaltending situation.

Move on man. Through the legs of a defender too? Why are you still worried about this?

Whether the Wings win, lose, or tie tonight, if they would play like this every night, I would be extraordinarily happy. They're playing with intensity. I hope this is a vision for the rest of the season.

So was Z's goal weak?
Same distance, Z had no screener, and went glove side.
Ovie went through a defenseman's leg, blocker side.
Both absolute roof jobs.

As the announcer just said that was a dart to the top shelf.

"The more I know about people - the better I like my dog." - Mark Twain

"A wise man once told me, ‘Don’t argue with fools. Cause people from a distance can’t tell who is who'." Jay Z, Takeover

"When I was looking for a captain, I wanted a guy with the Red Wings crest tattooed on his chest," said former Detroit coach Jacques Demers, who named Yzerman captain in 1986. "Steve Yzerman was that guy."

“Told him if he wasn't ultra-competitive he couldn't come here. If he didn't bring it every day he couldn't come here, because he was going to hate it if he didn't, dislike the coach and dislike playing here.
“It's real straightforward. If you don't do it right, you're not happy here." Babcock

1st period was amazing minus that shift after the Wings goal. But other than that; they had their cycle working well. Great forechecking. And some quality shots.

I cant believe we are still talking about that goal.

It was a great shot, with a screen... no one is going to stop it.

You dont have to have someone be at fault for every single goal against.

Crymson you dont even talk about the game  You look for people who dont post all praise for Detroit and jump down their throats. Give it up, no one cares.

Haha tell me about it mate, no doubt he's got his coffee, waiting desperately for a post to pull apart.

Not worth nitpicking every single goal the guy gives up. Just makes people sound foolish and that they watch maybe 4 games a year.

I expressed my opinion, you quoted me. Seems you were more worried about what I had to say.

The hell is wrong with this site. I would like to see some of you Howard haters get your ass in net and try to stop these. Ovi is a great player and has an amazing shot. Not going to stop every damn puck.
