That is where I was going too. I'd love for him to get a start against a competitive team when the wings are healthy and see what he can really do.I have confidence in him especially after last 2 games and waaaaaay more then Ozzie at this point. Could be the next Michael Leighton?

MacDonald is a better goalie than Leighton. A year older, but for a journeyman backup I think that doesn't really make a difference.

Look at it this way - before last night's game, Joey Mac hadn't given up a goal in regulation in the past four games he played. The only goals he did allow? Shootout. That's it.
He has been playing lights out and the D hung him out to dry a few times last night.
