Riley Sheahan - ESPN 2 Tonight

Rate this topic

Recommended Posts

Our last year's first pick will be on ESPN today/tonight at 5PM EST. He wears number 4 and this could be 99% of you to get your first looks at him. This game should be intense and Sheahan will most likely be double shifted and play on the PP and PK first units.

On his first shift his forechecking lead to a turnover. This kid is hugeeee and hits.

1-0 Notre Dame!!!

Just won a key defensive zone face-off cleanly.

1-1 now.

This game is fastttt

Both goalies letting in incredibly weak goals.

Sheahan has been used as defensive zone face-off artist on the PK.

The anouncing crew just raved about him towards the end of the period.

He's ALWAYS the first guy back and leads the break out. He had one shift where he went from behind the goal crease and deked his way through the neutral zone before he dumped the puck in.

He reminds me of an in prime Bertuzzi/Zetterberg in that sense.

He's big and tough and just looks super composed out there for a youngin' being asked to be on the first PK and first PP and to be a shut down center/3rd DMan.

Thorne yes, Melrose isn't too bad, but I'd prefer Clement over him.

I like all three of them and I miss them. I still remember the espn hockey theme song, with Thorne and Clement coming up. Goosebumps every time. :)
