Finished re-gripping my clubs, so the night wasn't a total loss.

I think they said, Babcock said Kane was like Datsyuk in the way everyone pays attention to him when he is on the ice.

No they said Babcock said when Dats is on the ice, everyone else seems to have more space. The announcers said that Kane does the exact same thing.

However, they did say that in his opinion, he was the best player out of Russia......ever! I thought that was very nice compliment.

Franzen is creeping up on Robert Lang when it comes to utter laziness.

Why can't he play hard every game? Hell, even half the games.

He absolutely drives me nuts with his inconsistent play. And yeah, even MORE than some of the others' inconsistent play. <_< He's obviously got what it takes to be a force and he will not come through - for whatever reasons.

I haven't seen a clean pass all game, for the Wings that is. They are all hit the blade two or three times before the pass recipient actually has control of it.

Maybe they need to do the egg drill from the Mighty Ducks.

because we could have kept Hossa who actually plays defense, has heart, and has even dropped the damn gloves. Mule is such a heartless ***** it pisses me off

So quick pole...

Smith in for Salei in the playoffs?

Mursak in for Modano?

Tatar for Hudler?

Couldn't hurt to have them get the feet wet in the playoffs since they have to learn at some point

I'm completely on board with Tater. Mursak probably, but I can't speak intelligently on Smith. I know with every fiber of my being that I want Salei off the ice. Modano hasn't done squat, but at least he's not a turnover machine or has his own seat in the sin bin. I still have a modicum of hope for Hudler - don't ask why. I just feel he'll come around in the playoffs if given the opportunity.

Then again, did you see Hossa fan on a shot toward the net?

OK, so when we're desperate we have to look for little, bright moments...

LOL i actually just made a thread like this without even seeing this post. I think Smith should go for Salei and Tatar/Mursak for Modano/Draper. Hudler I'm not ready to give up on yet, maybe if they actually put him with Datsyuk again he could.

If I'm a doctor I'm prescribing the members of LGW one giantly massive chill pill... Cmon they are playing a desperate team who is most likely going to give Vancouver fits in the playoffs bottom line RELAX

that would be excuse #72

I guess Smith might be a bit of a stretch, but as I said they gotta know what the playoffs are all about and also he does have some nastiness to his game and is willing to get dirty and actually go into the corners
