Let's make a drinking game out of the crappy referee job we're going to witness tonight. Might as well, anyways, eh?

Babcock will not allow the Wings to sit back and get beat up by Chicago at home right before the playoffs start. No way.

So all Chicago needs is one point to secure a playoff spot?

No they'll need at least 2 to "secure" one, but could still make it as it is depending on what Dallas does and how the ROW tiebreaker plays out.

Honestly they might as well just sit Homer tonight, if he is even anywhere near the ice you can expect to get some goals called back.

Really doesn't matter how the Wings play tonight, Refs are going to help out Chicago as much as they can.

Im re-locating date night to watch this one, I have already made sure that the girl knows profanity may be used depending on the reffing. I think we sit some of the bigs and let the role and youth players carry the minutes. As they say in the USMC "Get Some"

Also if Babs is still holding those tryouts for 6th d man spot put all the candidates on the ice heavy minutes tonight and see who has the mind set to go to war.

Priorities tonight

1. Stay healthy- For the love of God
2. Win
3. Beat a couple Hawks to a pulp (without suspensions)
4. Find Buttman and give him a trip down to 8 Mile Rd and drop him off.

So don't get injured and don't let the Hawks have anymore points.

assume Dal wins both games in regulation, then if Chi gets 2 points in SO and loses one in regulation, that wont be enough

CHI 97 pts, 44 wins, 6 SOW: 38 ROW
DAL 97 pts, 43 wins, 5 SOW: 38 ROW

Head-to-Head series won by Dal 3-1: Dal in PO

Look to see Detroit win the series. If Detroit wins and sweeps this series, then we wont even see Chicago in the playoffs and see Deroit in as a #2 seed! Id love to see Dallas in the playoffs instead of Chicago.

Dallas is hoping the same thing.

Got razzed by the Hawks "fans" at work (one guy who doesn't follow hockey, but is from Chicago and defends his city, and another guy who wasn't aware for the last two years that Chicago had made the playoffs until I mentioned it to him in the second round).

I explained that Detroit had clinched and had nothing to play for, but they said that didn't matter and that there would be Wings blood on the ice.

Go Wings! Shut the Hawks up!

My money on the board pledge:

$1 for each goal scored by a player after whom I have named a hamster.

An additional $5 for each hat trick scored by a player after whom I have named a hamster.

An additional $10 if any of the above goals is the GWG goal that gives us the series win.

An additional $50 if it is the GWG that wins us the Cup.

$5 for a SO by Jimmy.

Hamsters' names (current players in RED):  Henrik Pavel Tomas Nicklas Dominik

                                                                      Niklas Matthieu Daniel Robert

                                                                      Johan Andreas Valtteri Jonathan

                                                                      Andrew Patrick Ian Todd

And introducing:  Jordin Damien Gustav James

TOTAL SO FAR: $30

Hoping to be able to see most of the game tonight. I just want us to come out of this with no one injured, a win would be nice but I also think the referring will have an influence on the game tonight.

Great GDT HT! But I think the game is also on FSN tonight. ;)

Go Wings!

I was born and raised on the South Side, and this is hilarious.

BaDum CHHHHH!!!

"He even ate with women who at that time were accorded the same status as the family donkey. Are we willing to break bread with, say, child sex slaves, transgender teens and undocumented workers? Because when Jesus comes back to Earth, that's where he'll be hanging."
You can easily judge the character of a man by how he treats those who can do nothing for him.

Money on the Board - 100 bucks on the base.  From here on, one buck per puck IN goal, win or lose!

Total right now:  $108.
