What time in the year was this poll? If I recall it was several months ago, that wasn't the end of the season. And it's not just +/-, it's stat's across the board.

Defensive play can not be judged by stats alone... I take it you rarely watch Visnovsky, he rarely kills penalties for a reason.

Yes, the poll was a couple months ago... Has Lidstrom fallen apart in the last couple months, defensively?

all i know is I hope the hawks get eliminated so we don't have to be subjected to this horrible commentating anymore. only thing worse is when they suck off the pens..

Tootoo does NOT belong on this team. He is classless and I would rather see the Wings be bad than classless. I feel the same way about Bertuzzi as well, but he at least CAN make the team better. With Tootoo the team becomes worse and in danger of being classless. Would you have liked Claude on the team? Or Roy? No. So why would you be okay with that POS.

Okay, we've established the Wings aren't going to get any calls - it's up to them to play around the refs. It helps that we're out-hitting them and doing it legally. Wings just need to play their game. *deep breath*
Can't wait to read the "Phoenix: I still think it's a hockey market" chapter of Gary Bettman's autobiography. I'm guessing it's going to be chapter 11.
