Right where they belong...golfing...

What a joke team, you lose to one of the lowest goal scoring teams in the league and give up 4 GOALS? Maybe they don't belong in the playoffs.

I'm glad I'm not a Stars fan. What a horrible effort by them today.

And this is why I want Chicago in. Vancouver will get worn out badly by these Hawks, they may possibly do what Anaheim did a couple years ago to the Sharks, if not then Vancouver will be exhausted. Travel and facing a high scoring team might just get to them.

I really think Vancouver will beat Chicago handily.

They aren't even close to the team that beat Vancouver in the past. And Vancouver is much better.

I make it a rule not to even mention something said elsewhere (other forums), but this is too funny to pass up. There's a thread entitled "glad det. decided not to give a s***" in a place-the-name-of-which-shall-not-be-mentioned. First post: "Nice going, s*** wings..." lol blaming the Wings (when it was 3-0) for nearly costing them a spot in the playoffs.

Sorry, bubbas, I was pulling for Dallas, but when all was said and done, the right team lucked in, and by the hair of their chinny-chin-chin.

I'd imagine that Crawford is done.

I'd imagine that Crawford is done.

The first Crawford I thought of was Corey. Then I figured you meant Marc. I'm a brick.

Money on the board:  Current total: $6

$1 for a goal by any current Wing after whom I have named a hamster.  An additional $5 for a series-clinching goal scored by any current Wing after whom I have named a hamster. $5 if the other team fails to score against a current Wing goalie after whom I have named a hamster.

Hamsters I have had:  (current Wings highlighted)

Henrik Pavel Tomas Nicklas Dominik

Niklas Matthew Daniel Robert

Johan Andreas Valtteri Jonathan

Andrew Patrick Ian Todd

Jordin Damien Gustav James

good call! and i feel bad for guys like morrow and richards playing on a team where it doesn't matter if you lead by example when you have slugs like ribiero that just don't give a s*** or play with any grit. lehtonen had a pretty good season and has been great as of late, but dallas as a whole didn't do themselves any favors yesterday. it was nice to watch the end of the game.

This offseason will determine whether Ken Holland should still be employed with the Wings organization.

Please put Smith on the Power Play!

You knew Dallas was toast when they signed Jason Williams for the stretch run. A whopping 2:40 of ice time yesterday and (of course) was a -1.

My thoughts exactly. We need to cleanse this thread of bad mojo.

It could have been much worse; they could still have Turco.

Atleast with Turco the failure didn't come *before* the playoffs.
It's amazing how much clarity comes when you care more about the Red Wings than any individual player.

"They are the best team in the world. They are a team that can just take over when they want to," Chicago's Patrick Kane said (of the Detroit Red Wings).

part of me felt sorry for them, as I badly wanted Blackhawks to be out.

then I realized it's Marc f* Crawford behind the bench and it couldn't get any better ;)
