THE SHRINE went up this morning (and it grows exponentially with each victorious round -- it can get pretty out of hand by June)

Cards -- check
Mini Stanley Cup -- check
Lidstom and Yzerman bobbleheads -- check
Pom poms -- check
Pucks of value -- check
Death cards -- check
Squeaky octopus toy named 'Al' who used to be squeaked after every Red Wings goal but in 2009 he gave up the ghost so now he sits on the death cards (old hockey cards of the opponents teams that you kick and step on when the tension grows) -- check
Regulation goal lamp (off screen) -- check
