Like a tie between Pash and Danger. Pav was just too nasty all series to not get the vote though. Helm became just an all around man this series with his nationally televised panty dropping he did on Jovo every single game

Datsyuk/Kronwall. The best part of the 1st round? I honestly dont think any players had a bad series. Everyone played hard.

But I agree, Kronner played well, Lids was great, Howard made some huge timely saves, everyone stepped up in playoff mde.

My vote goes to Helm but unsung hero is hands down Drapes. I was at Games 3 and 4, and I don't think how well Draper played tranistioned over onto TV... he was blocking shots, causing turnovers and played with more intensity than a player half his age. Lidstrom worried me a little bit, he got rocked in Game 3 in the corners and struggled the remainder of the game.It was especially evident when he was managing the puck on the power play. In last night's game in the second period there was a pretty bad turnover. My standards for Mr. Norris could be a little high, and I could just being too hard on him, but hoping all the rest will do him good.

If MVP still means Most VALUABLE Player, I just don't understand how Helm or anyone else is getting votes. Pavel Datsyuk was easily our MVP.

Pavel of course, but Kronwall deserves a lot of love after that series. Played big minutes, solid D, and put some points on the board. Probably the best he's looked since the '08 playoffs.

I voted for Helm, only because he was so crucial in the Game 3 and Game 4 victories. Datsyuk is a given, always clutch. On defense, Kronwall and Salei were both great, especially Salei since I had lower expectations for him and he really stepped it up.

I am shocked Howard has only 7 votes. These were the best 4 games I have seen him play in a Wings jersey. He looked dominant out there and could have stolen any 4 of those games if he had too. He certainly kept us in games when we could have been down 2 goals in both game 1 and 4. If he plays like this for the next 3 series, he will be a major reason why we win the cup. Really amazing performances and gives me a helluva lot more confidence in him then I had starting the playoffs.
Datsyuk is a close second but the thing is, this guy does what he does every single game so I am a little spoiled when I watch him play. I guess Howard just stood out more to me. As it's been said, everyone played great this series. No true single player could be awarded series MVP.
