HankthaTank 1,100 Report post Posted April 26, 2011 Ouch. Making the prediction in the title, eh? Don't ever want to do that one, brah. We will see but as the first poster said, 3-6 OT's per game would be solid. We shall wait and see but Montreal and Boston will be a great way to start the evening. HankthaTank 1,100 Report post Posted April 26, 2011 no prediction, win or lose the fans will riot. Too true. I will predict, Philly takes it, Chicago takes it, and Boston closes their's out tonight as well. Hopefully it doesn't as I love their beer, women, and lovely landscape, but Canada could very well burn to the ground tonight.
wingslogo19 281 Report post Posted April 26, 2011 I'm really pulling for the Hawks to win, where I'm from everyone is a Canucks fan and I'm sick of hearing about them already, Hawks please end it
b.shanafan14 733 Report post Posted April 26, 2011 I'm really pulling for the Hawks to win, where I'm from everyone is a Canucks fan and I'm sick of hearing about them already, Hawks please end it Opposite for me. I'm from Michigan, huge Wings fan finishing up graduate school in Milwaukee. Just two years ago there were zero hockey fans to be found outside of Badgers fans. Then the newest NHL sponsored bandwagon started in Chicago and now everyone and their brother has "always" been a Hawks fan. Not as bad as the Pittsburgh Crosbies, but close. A week ago, it seemed everyone had just about leaped from the bandwagon just as it was moving top speed, before that overrated choke-artist Luongo let them back in. Save for an epic failure in Dallas, the defending champs should be at home watching. As much as I hate the Sedins and Luongo, I really hope they win. At least if they make it, they'll choke in the next round. If Chicago wins, they make history and I hurl.

mjlegend 155 Report post Posted April 26, 2011 no prediction, win or lose the fans will riot. And West Vancouver will look like a war zone, with cops turning a blind eye to drug addicts lining the streets and the smell of vomit will permeate the nostrils... Philly has had the most inconsistent goaltending in the playoffs so far. Almost a guarantee the starter doesn't finish the game at this point. I still think they're gonna win, but their net has been the weakest link.

Hockeytown0001 7,652 Report post Posted April 26, 2011 What about Bobrovsky??? Dude had one sub-par game and was immediately yanked after being solid all season long. That'll do wonders for his confidence.

kylee 727 Report post Posted April 26, 2011 Hawks, and Sabres the ONE game where i will be rooting for the Hawks, just to see those fake contender Canucks eliminated in the 4th biggest choke in playoff history. Plus, on a videogame perspective hopefully not so many freaking people will play as the Canucks on xbox live realizing their demise. So, through gritted teeth....go Hawks?? ugh i just cant even fake it. Just lose Vancouver

So, through gritted teeth....go Hawks?? ugh i just cant even fake it. Just lose Vancouver I think that if Chicago wins, it would be the biggest choke in history, not the fourth. A President's Trophy winning team that's one of the favorites to win the Stanley Cup being eliminated after leading the opening round 3-0 to a team that backed into the playoffs due to another team's inability to beat a non-playoff team? Toefuzz 58 Report post Posted April 26, 2011 I'm very conflicted about cheering for Chicago but I can't ignore the awesomeness of playing Nashville and having reasonable start times for our away games. On the other hand I live less than 2 hours from Chicago, am surrounded by Hawks fans, and love watching them suffer after having to listen to them for the past year and a half. If you think the "Core Debate" thread can be frustrating you should try being surrounded by Chicago meatheads... If Dante was still around I'm pretty sure it would be the new 7th circle of hell.
