This could be a good one. With the way both teams play, I'd expect a LOT of one-goal games. And those can go either way in the playoffs. I'll say Caps in 6, but I wouldn't be surprised if the Lightning take it.

I sure hope Tampa Bay doesn't get f***ed over by the refs. Now that Chicago and Pittsburgh are both gone. Bettman probably really wants Washington in the Cup finals.

I say Caps in 5. Roli's going to have to really stand on his head for this to get stretched out. Much more talent up front for Washington than for a Pittsburgh team without Crosby and Malkin.

Go Bolts. I have little to no confidence in this one going past 5 and near a sweep. Caps are in their best position to make a Cup run they have been in some time. They are playoff tested and play a good brand of defensive hockey. Not to mention that Neuvirth has been steady as can be. Still not quite sure why the Caps fans say "NOOO" when he makes a stop when its pronounced Noy-verth.. meh, whatever

Bettman probably really wants Washington in the Cup finals.
The Caps were the road team in the Winter Classic this year, so they're already in the Finals and ready to lose. All these games are just for show.

Caps in 7. I'd like to pick the Lightning but just cannot. Caps are healthy and have really good D. Alzner and Carlson make me long for a young D pair. Maybe Smith and Kosolov will heal my wounds in the coming years

The Lightning are deeper, more experienced and they know how to win. The Capitals needed a lot of help from the refs and Marian Gaborik's botches to beat a bad Rangers team. I really don't see how anyone can view Washington as the favorite in this series.

I really want the Bolts to make it, but I don't think they have a chance against the Caps.
They have been relying on Roloson on defense and with Washington I don't know how long he can relent. Washington has a much better offensive team than Pittsburgh.

2 goals in 4 mins. gonna be a good series. dont really see tampa winning this series though, not strong enough defensively

Me either...they should be chanting "NEWVIE" (for pronunciation sake) because that's what his nickname is.

We all know that Roloson has the ability to carry a team not just through a series, but almost to a Cup. He ain't outta gas yet, if he keeps it up, Bolts have a pretty good shot in this one.

Cant judge the caps defensive play yet. what was their test the rangers? team that had trouble scoring all year
