Datsyuk's wrist is healthy enough to take face-offs or they trust Modano enough to take the face-offs for him. Which allows them to go with: Datsyuk/Modano - Datsyuk/Modano - Holmstrom Cleary - Zetterberg - BErtuzzi Miller - Filppula - ABdelkader Draper - Helm - Eaves Or, 2. They will switch at some point in the game to something like: Modano - Filppula - Datsyuk Cleary - Zetterberg - Bertuzzi Miller - Abdelkader - Holmstrom Draper - Helm - Eaves I would imagine they want to be able to roll option one as it makes them stronger down the middle Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I definitely agree with that but there's no denying the third line is weaker. So I guess we'll see what happens but yeah I mean I like the second options better as well in a way but part of me thinks you may get more out of each player with option 1. Filppula-Datsyuk-Cleary Modano-Zetterberg-Bertuzzi Abdelkader-Helm-Eaves Draper-Miller-Holmstrom FLIP AND PAV MUST BE TOGETHER, imo. I'd plug Modano on the second line.
