My money on the board pledge:
$1 for each goal scored by a player after whom I have named a hamster.
An additional $5 for each hat trick scored by a player after whom I have named a hamster.
An additional $10 if any of the above goals is the GWG goal that gives us the series win.
An additional $50 if it is the GWG that wins us the Cup.
$5 for a SO by Jimmy.

I do hope our local NBC affiliate shows the game tomorrow. Right now, the schedule says World Poker tournament. We know what is important in Texas, right (*hint: NOT hockey)

There was a question on my final exam that had no correct answer. It was one of the ones worded like "All of these choices are correct except..." It was an open book online exam, so I was able to find a paragraph that explicitly stated that none of the answers were appropriate. Sigh.
Of course, this is the same class where in one of the chapter discussions a girl said that she was surprised to learn that seahorses are fish-- she thought they were actual horses. She also didn't realize that tuna is a fish because it doesn't look like a fish in the can. I suppose I shouldn't expect too much out of this class.
So glad I'm done with it so I can focus on playoffs!

I missed posting last game and I feel like I jinxed the team. Here is my post and lets get a game 2 win! LGW!
Shame on both of you!No, I jinxed it because my lucky Howard shirt that I wore for the whole 1st round was in the washing machine, so I couldn't wear it. Of course, Howard still did just fine...it somehow ended up jinxing everybody but him. So anyway, don't feel too bad!
Is it Sunday yet? I just want to get back into action and recover from this ASAP. Weirdly enough, that game increased my confidence...we CAN do this, and we definitely have the ability to overcome what ailed us last night.
So we decided 300 is acceptable now since we lost with 200?

I hope I heard this incorrectly, but it sounded like a guy on CBC just said that the chances of Crosby coming back from his concussion to play in this year's playoffs are very small. Because, you know, he apparently can play without his team.
