I feel like I'm watching the Canucks brass play against the Canucks brass when it comes to the complaining about the refs in the last 24 hours:

http://sports.yahoo.com/nhl/blog/puck_daddy/post/Bruins-Lightning-coaches-spar-over-working-the-?urn=nhl-wp5735

Boucher (before game): "[it's] 24-9 against, right? Yes, I'm aware of it. Very aware of it. Very, very aware of it. It has been a part of our discussions quite a few times in the last game, the last games we did have that particular ref. And it is lopsided."

Julien (after game): "And what was more disappointing is probably the fact that, you know, I don't know if I agree with those calls. And hopefully what was said today didn't have any impact on that, because if it did, I'd be really disappointed."

Quasimodo (after game): "Well, I mean, it seemed like some of them were just makeup calls because we had a bunch of [power plays]," Lucic said. "You'd hope it's not the time of year where there's makeup calls like that. You can't let the refs get to you. You don't want them to be the difference, and you want to do whatever you can to work past that. We don't want to make excuses because of referees, but, then again, we have to do whatever we can to not take penalties."

Enough whining already, both of you!

"Well' date=' first of all, I was asked that. I didn't bring it up myself. So I was asked. And people put numbers in front of me.[/b']

"And those are the facts, the numbers. If you're asking me, power plays are 5-4 for them tonight. And they were 3-0 for them the start of the game in the first period, and it was 4-1 for them before we got our other power play. So I don't know who got the advantage today. We got less power plays than them."

From Guy Boucher after game 6.

At least provide full context. Makes you look like you are trying to misrepresent the actual facts.

Boucher has blinked twice; once more and there might be a Visine Vaseline commercial for him in the near future.

The browneye is the one blinking.

Good win last night to force game 7 Yzers.

I most certainly hope for the Bolts to pull it.

otherwise I'll have to pull for the Nucks, as I'm fed up with all that free calls Bruins get from the league... it's like watching 2007 Ducks again - escaping a murder and getting free whistles all the time...

If Boston were to win, I'd have to be going for them rather than a team that dives almost as much as the Sharks do.
