Before I hit the panic button and start freaking out about the game, I just want to say how glad I am that this thread exists for me to post in.

Win one for mum and mom and Jim Howard

I like this sentiment. Jimmy's been on it for most of the playoffs, and I gotta say, he's kept me believing with his off-ice comments after the heartbreak of games 1-3. "Why not us?" indeed. You tell 'em, Jimmah. And of course let's do it for Mom. None of us would watching or playing hockey without our moms, so heck yeah, make them proud, boys!

give us a reason to cheer, Wings. Man, to say this could be a swing game is the understatement of the year. DO NOT LET HISTORY REPEAT ITSELF AGAIN, aka, dont go down in flames in 5 games yet again to the Sharks. I believe this team can do this...get your act together Wings, please no OT.

True that. If they can pull of the big win tomorrow, then oh my god. Ride that momentum on home ice and anything could happen. BELIEVE!!

This is the critical juncture of this series. If they can win Game 5 they can carry some serious momentum back to the Joe. But because I'm superstitious, I have to keep my skepticism alive because it worked last game. No prediction of Wings victory, because San Jose is going to get a ton of lucky breaks and the Wings are going to have to work twice as hard.

At any rate, let's go Wings!

They can do this. Each game has been decided only by one goal - although I will admit the play on the ice hasn't been that close, aside from first period of game 5 when the Wings took it to them. To paraphrase from an article I read this morning, the Wings "have better hockey" yet to play. So, do it.

Jimmy's the superior goalie, the Wings need to remember that. Take the play to Niemi's net, shoot the puck at him, and you'll win. Stay out of the box, if the officials will allow it -- and just take it one shift at a time.

Let's see a 6 up there on the page, at the end of the day!

Go, Wings -- we believe!!!
