Im nervous for this one.. As long as jimmy plays well and we fire everrything on net this team can pull it off again without a doubt. Hopefully pavs if healthy enough to center to mo and holmstrom, that should be a little interesting..
Anyways GO WINGS!!!!!!!!!!

Quite interesting to hear everybody outside Hockeytown, especially the tv talking heads, now ooking for a seat on the Detroit bandwagon. Pssssh whatever!!! It's either disrespect us or ignore us all year, so I don't trust any of them. They're trying to jinx us and we sure the hell don't need them!! Even Hockey Night in Canada featured about 45 seconds of Datsyuk highlights the other night. A FULL 45 seconds!! Hahaha.

Out-hit.
Out-hustle.
And remember boys, it's us against the world. Nobody wants us here.

"To whom much is given, much is expected!!!"

Go Wings!!!

There were many (regulars) on this forum who jumped off that same bandwagon after the Wings were down 3-0.

With regards to Clowe, he's definitely their best player. Not only does he sport the most points, but he has a knack of controlling the puck along the boards and is a physical presence. Without him in the game, this series goes to a Game 7.

I'm expecting Niemi to crack, San Jose to panic, and this to be the loudest I've ever heard The Joe (other than winning the Stanley Cup at home in 1997 and 2002).

5-1 Wings!

Let's do this! Let's Go Red Wings!

Well, damn. Here I was thinking I'd be watching the game at 4:30 PST, and it isn't until 5. The extra 30 minutes could potentially kill me. ><

I'm so nervous. I'm trying to keep up my pessimistic attitude because it works so well for me generally (like during the last game where I got really mad, haha), but its so hard...

Go WIngs!!!:siren:

i will be missing a majority of the game thanks to the fire academy. Not sure if I should check the score periodically or be surprised when I get home.

LET'S RAGE!

LET'S GO WINGS!

The wings need to play like its for sure Lidstrom and Modano's last game and win it for them, forget about the pressure of history and of trying to extend the season, just try to give 2 of the greatest players the nhl has ever seen one last win

Rooting for Detroit tonight. Wanna see this series go as long as possible. Can't make up my mind on who I want the Canucks to face though. Both Detroit and San Jose would be tough in the conference finals. I think with either team the series with the Canucks is going to go seven games.

Good luck tonight. If any team can pull off four straight it's the Wings.

one last win

That would be cool if they didn't have 9 more to go after that. But I sense your point Posted Image

Game 6 memories

in reality, what if Roy didn't use an over-sized glove to try to have an advantage, he may have been able to close his hand on the puck and not drop it. Thank Heaven there was no "Intent to Blow the Whistle" on that play, eh?

Missing the first part of the game due to having to conduct my sr high choir concert. Last time I had this conflict was when Stevie Y scored his OT goal against STL. Wings pin on my lapel, gonna get home as quick as I can to see it. Just like Game 5, believe until the end. Never give up, never surrender. Let's go Wings! Let's go Wings! Let's go Wings!
It's pronounced "Zim" not "Exim". Aw heck with it, just call me Scott.
