I disagree, he and pretty much all the rest of the Wings had a great night winning puck battles, moving it quickly out of the defending zone, and controlling it in the attacking zone.yeah, hell of a game if you ignore that breakaway fail. countless board battles lost (as usual) and pretty much useless.
...hell of a game.

He had a hell of a game tonight, even if he did miss on that breakaway.
Despite what that Stinky Fish **** guy said, Cleary did have a great game and, IMO, has been having a great series, I remember, back in 2007 against the Flames, identifying him as the type of player that you need in the playoffs. He always goes hard into every battle and plays with that special edge. There is a short list of guys that I wouldn't mind being traded, but Cleary isn;t one of them. He just has that heart and determination that - if we're at a loss (which we never should be) - can carry us forward. Look to him in Game 7, much like in Game 7 of the '09 Western Conference semis. It won't necessarily be pretty, but we know that he'll be there to do something special if the situation does arise.

I thought you quit after game three. Didn't you say we were all morons if we didn't see the series was over? Oh, well; I guess you're back to be negative again after one of the team's most inspiring wins of the last decade.
Silly man.
are we all watching the same game? cleary had a great game? a great SERIES!?!?!
did i step into bizarro world?
I think you might lack the requisite stomach for the playoffs. Can't you be happy and hopeful for once?

Sweeet.
Is there a video of Ken & Mick calling the first two goals?
And a low tolerance for them telling me how to lean
See the most important parts are the ones that are unseen
The Wings don't make you fly and the Crown don't make you king
Now God don't like ugly, ain't too happy bout pretty

Oh my god, I haven't screamed a name like I screamed Val Fil's ever. A little after San Jose's goal, the restaurant's radio started playing Hotel California and I told my dad that it was a sign that Detroit would need a hotel in California for Thursday night and the game would be tied by the end of the song. Don Henley proved me wrong... just as the song ended, Val Fil pocketed his goal and I didn't stop screaming for two minutes.
Everyone played Detroit hockey tonight and it payed off. I haven't watched a team dominate a game like we did tonight since the 02 Wings. Sleep tonight? I doubt it.

Nobody lives forever.
Some things never die.
Like up in the land of ice and snow,
They tell me that a Red Wing always flies.

That's ok.... It will just be getting even for 1994.However, it'll be easy to suck the life out of that building. They'll be more nervous than anything, same with the Sharks.
Imagine San Jose having to add, blowing a 0-3 series lead to that playoff resume?! Ouch!

You have to be one of the biggest losers I have ever seen on these boards, and I've been around long enough to have seen plenty. It's like you live in a perfect world and you think all 20 guys dressed should be perfect every night. It's a team game you ****** and that's what allowed us to get back into this series.

Thanks for the link. I had to go take a midterm for a computer engineering class tonight so I did not get to watch. Nice to hear the highlights with the right announcers finally. I came so close to blowing off that test, but I figured I couldn't expect my team to commit to working through whatever unpleasantness was at hand if I was not going to. Maybe it's superstitious, but I don't think I would have added as a fan by flaking out just because I wanted to do the easy thing and stay home to watch like I wanted to...http://video.nhl.com/videocenter/console?hlg=20102011,3,246&fr=false
