Anyways, like I said in my previous post - I'm proud of them for coming back, but the reality is that they should have never been down 3-0 to begin with. Disappointing.

I think I would be less upset right if the power play had even come close to scoring one time. They played a fine game 5 on 5, but got outscored 1-0 on the power play. Terrible time for the special teams to go down the toilet.

I can justify any of the last 4 teams winning the Cup.

Boston: Tim Thomas, MI native, deserves to lift that cup. That and I like Mark Recchi too.
Tampa Bay: Duh! Yzerman is the GM!
Vancouver: A Canadian team gets a cup. Maybe then Canada will stop bitching.
San Jose: Niemi gets to cart the cup around for the second year in a row. Blackhawk fans would be a little irritated that the guy they didn't sign ends up lifting the cup.

I hate losing to San Jose two years in a row, I was really hoping that the Wings would of found a way to win this game.

I can't stand Joe Thorton and I hope that the Sharks get swept by the Canucks.

Much much much worse. I am pretty proud of the wings tonight. I have never been more angry or upset with the team after the 09 loss.

Howard did his job we walked into this series as the walking wounded yet still came back from 3 - 0. Most teams would have given up.

realistically after cleary went down we didn't have enough jump left. I loved this series and i think that if we had gone to overtime we still would have lost considering our track record against SJ in OT. I gladly take all the chirps from my buddies over this as we showed true heart and we'll be back next year to spoil their parties and win the cup. lids has to come back one more year. Holland has to make some big moves to give this team that last shot. and i dont mean tweaks, he needs to make this team unbeatable, that means saying goodbye to some old favs but I think its worth it.

Kronwall was great in this series, but he s*** the bed in the 3rd period tonight.

A bad pinch which led to the winning goal and he fanned on a shot that Zetterberg set up beautifully.

I think theres a pretty good chance that hudler gets traded in the off season. played like s*** all season and f***ed up big time in the playoffs.

Playing two scoring forwards short in the third was difficult.

Jimmy Howard is becoming the goalie we HOPED he'd be rather than the one we FEARED he'd be.

Hudler's presence on this team is rather mystifying. Should have never signed him again in the offseason.

He had a chance to step up with others injured, and he did nothing in the 3rd. Passed up on shots, made fancy ass plays, you name it.

To be honest I am not as upset about this lost than I was about the 2009 lost in the Stanley Cup even though I was getting ridiculed in front of like 30 people at a friends house in 09. LOL!!!!!
