I think they NHL needs to stay out of it, the guys aren't harming the game right now they're just having fun. It's the same with us and the octopus throwing, we have our etiquette and don't mess with the game so it should be left alone. If the NHL wants to keep ruining the fans' fun, they'll start losing fans.

I think it would be disrespectful to do that in another teams rink, plus I think they are kind of lame..

just go to the game, have fun and cheer your team. no need to act like goofs and be attention whores.

They went to Nashville's barn and they were fine. The fans actually had fun with them there. They were respectful and commented how much fun they had and how great the Pred's fans are.

That's like condoning a Red Wing fan getting a beer shower and a "knuckle sandwich" for throwing the octopus on visitors ice.

Their green men are a delicate subject. As is their 40 year history without a Cup It's all good my man, insecurity has many levels.

They are hilarious.. people shouldn't take it so seriously. I always use to watch Its Always Sunny in Phili, & its awesome to see the green men in the NHL now haha.

I also like the green guys in Vancouver. Sports is fun, and that's fun. More teams should have fans like that. I think if I was a player, I'd have something planned for them if I got a penalty.

I think they are hilarious, imagine if they were around while Shanahan was still playing, he mocked a few fans while sitting in the sin-bin in his day, he would probably have something planned for them IMO.

I don't see a problem with it. A lot of sports teams have their own little thing going on, like Vancouver with the Green Men, Red Wings with the octopi, the Yankees with their Roll Call (although I wouldn't mind seeing that section accidentally collapse during one of their games), etc.

Also, It's Always Sunny is a great show.

They are season ticket holders, so i don't think it'd take a lot of work to find out if you are the press and I'm sure everyone around that area knows who they are.

Recent TSN feature on the green men.

My favourite part is the two little girls (I think) dressed up as green men for Halloween. Right near the end. OP, how could you rob them of their heroes!!!
