If it isn't obvious enough, where the Canucks are succeeding and the Wings failed are two major things:

1) Special teams. Canucks power play and penalty kill have been far superior to San Jose's. Both the Canucks and Red Wings outmatched San Jose 5 on 5 but the Red Wings just got obliterated not being able to both kill penalties or score on power plays, especially pivotal ones.

2) Not collapsing under pressure. Canucks kept their composure and rarely get caught skating around, the exception being following the 5 on 3 when the Canucks couldn't clear the zone. The Canucks block shots, get in the way, and push Sharks off the puck much better than the Wings have been doing.

Thats why I hate Ericsson.

Anyone see the replay of the high stick call? CBC saying Couture sold it well.

And Sharks score. 1-1. Kesler might have pulled groin.

I'm quite confused as to what refs consider a penalty nowadays. Power play Canucks.

Did kesler get stepped on or what?

He got injured when hustling after the puck on the PK. CBC thinks groin or hip flexor.

You could tell when it happened because Kesler held up and couldn't push off.. just coasted.

There's some fans dressed in red down there by the glass in the Canucks 2nd period attack zone in spandex looking s*** like the Green Men holding up X and O's.. someone sure is desperate for their 15 seconds of fame.

Canucks caught with too many men. Undisciplined play there.

Kesler back on the bench.

I wouldnt, San Jose embellish everything. Vancouver are a poor mans San Jose when it comes to embellishment, other then Kesler

Well CBC hasn't quite been objective all playoffs with the Canucks... Glenn Healey falsely called out a Pred for embellishing a high stick call, shortly after Vancouver (Luongo and someone) did it twice which he didn't mention

Lol Couture got tapped on his helmet and his feet came out from under him, then following the commercial Couture gets nudged by Sedin and he jumps into the boards like he was shot out of a cannon. This guy is an embarrassment to the NHL.

Him and like 5 or 6 of his teammates.

Nucks are outplaying the Sharks, seem to be toying with them at times, they gotta shoot that puck and stop waiting and passing for the perfect setup.

he's quickly adopting the ways of his team

All I can say is wow, how the hell did the Canucks get that tangled up? o.O

2-1 Sharks.

Edit: Bad decision by Luongo.
