Clowe punching at Kesler like a sore loser and Kesler showing he can take a better dive any day.

Diving is bad enough... but then to stay on the ice for that long afterwards is just embarassing. He was obviously fine because he popped right up to congratulate Luongo, but spent 30 seconds on the ice making sure the refs watched him suffer.

I've always liked Kesler, but these antics are just pathetic. These teams suck.

Is there any way we can make the Eastern Conference finals the Cup finals?

It sure does seem like that's the way the Sharks handle a loss isn't it. Goon it up. Now they'll probably call the Canucks classless in the post-game interviews.

Henrik leads the playoffs in points now. He will never show up in the playoffs.

Salo with a huge game.

Torres was a human wrecking ball. Put Thornton out of the game.

Replacements Ballard and Tanev played great. Ballard's cart-wheel hit was awesome. Tanev is 21 years old. He also played beyond his years earlier in the season when three quarters of our defensive core was out. Great future ahead of him.

You guys have no idea how glad i was to see the canucks score 3 5 on 3 power play goals on San Jose in like a 2 minute span. I was laughing my ass off while reading the sharks forum on HF Boards.

Hmm, remember last year? Well, they got em all called agianst them in the same game at the same time. I just found it hilarious. I f***in hate the sharks, but would ultimately want to see Tampa Bay win the cup this year.

But i just don't think either team in the east has what it takes to beat either SJ or Van. The west is a level higher overall in my opinion.

The only way the league will get this diving nonsense out of the game is to start calling ONLY the diver and really start calling it frequently. They almost never call it, or take both players on the rare occasion they do call it.

What would an argument about diving between Nucks and Sharks fans look like?

I mean, that would be a mighty fine episode of hypocrisy.

It'd be an endless loop of arguing lol.

Doubt I'll watch anymore of this series after this ref fest. Lighting and Bruins is a much better/funner series to watch.

I guess you've forgotten how the Nucks reacted in the Chicago series.

Agreed. It's like night and day. I don't know if it's the less diving or luck of the draw that they got better refs, but the games are generally much better managed by the officials.

Kesler with one final dive. I'm revising my opinion on him. Looks like the old Kesler is returning.

Why would Kesler dive when the game's over and there's no potential gain?

He lost a couple bottom teeth and had 13 stitches last series. Probably hurt like hell.

edit: Oops. Didn't see RedLightGoesOn's comment above.

Because despite the fact most posters here want the Sharks to get whalloped, there are still closet Nucks haters in the mix. :hehe:

I can understand the comment though Doc. Kesler does embellish. In this case though, I'm not so sure.

But I've never seen a guy who takes more sticks to the face than him. His face attracts lumber.

Speculation is that Thornton has a shoulder injury or maybe some ribs.

What did they do.

There is potential gain, per League rules [...] instigator rule: within the final 5 minutes of the game, instigator shall be a mandatory 1 game suspension. Kesler is such a ******* weasel.

You'd have to ask him. Force of habit?

Like I said earlier, I'm a Kesler fan. I've said several times he should win the Selke this year, and probably should've last year. It's not just blind hate. Though this series has made it harder and harder to continue to like him.

But if he's jawing with Clowe like that and doesn't think he could get popped, he's an idiot. Even on hfboards they were pointing out how none of his teammates really checked on him. And how he popped up to congratulate Luongo seconds later. If his jaw is that tender, he probably shouldn't be sticking it in Clowe's face at the end of a game. It's not surprising that Clowe would do that.

If you weren't watching the games where Chicago was blowing out the Nucks and how Vancouver players reacted, there's really no point in me telling you. But calling out the sharks for being sore losers against Vancouver is kind of like the Sharks calling out Vancouver for diving.

Fair enough. It's a bit of a non-starter for me. The game was over, we won and Kesler got back up.

The only possible thing I think you may be referring is to Bieksa tuning up Stalberg. I thought that's where you were going.

In that case, Stalberg was running all over the ice taking shots at our players late in a 7-1 game. Right before Bieksa tuned him up he hit Bieksa in the head. Bieksa did the right thing and taught the punk a lesson.

I am not sure what you expect from Kesler when Clowe is the one who initiated.

Remember game 4 of last series? You don't have to do anything to get Clowe to want to punch you in the face.

Kesler put on a pretty stingy slash on a Shark's player in the final seconds of the game they lost. Kesler sure is a whiny little ***** when his team loses.

I've come to realize that your opinion about Kesler should be thrown out the same way they throw out the high and low scores in Olympic skating. You're the Russian judge.
