yeah you mine as well get homer a lawn chair and some kool-aid, cuz thats where youll always find him. the ONLY time that its good to plant in front like that is on the PP, its like being short handed out there with him in front.

I honestly can't understand how so many members to this forum make posts that are so emotionally based. I'm not saying you have to have the same opinion as I do but I keep reading all kinds of posts/threads that go on these emotional rants about players that have no justification as to the hatred. It seems like so many people on here can't look at players and their play objectively.

Persaonlly I would like to see the Wings step up and get a defensemen and a top six winger if the cap should enable them to do so. I think Bertuzzi is better suited on the 3rd line and when needed he can step up and fill a 2nd line spot.

I'll never understand the blind hatred for Holmstrom and people need to learn how to give credit where credit is due. His puck retrival skills are huge.

lookalive07, You just replied to yourself? congrats!

I was referring to the neg I got. Quoting myself was only so anyone confused could refer to my post to see the neg. However, I can see why it was confusing...I didn't really mention it in the first place.

Edit: looking at my original post, things get even more dicey as I now no longer have a neg. Carry on.

I think that the OP putting Hudler on the second line, let alone on the team at all, is more of a atrocity than Holmstrom being on Datsyuk's wing... Sure Homer has lost a step or 9, but he is still one of the best at what he does, and he doesn't do it JUST on the power play. Therein lies the problem with putting him on the 4th line, he is not a grinder, and for him to do his job correctly, someone had to get the puck on the net once in awhile. I agree with being a power play specialist, but he still has enough talent to play with the big boys.... other's on this team, do not....
