I love the Burrows hate, just like I loved all the Bertuzzi hate when he played for Vancouver, makes these wins all that much sweeter. Don't be looking too forward to next season though, Canucks will still have most of their crew for the next few years so chances are good you'll witness your nightmare all over again as the Nucks make it two in a rowCompletef****** joke, there is no other way to describe it.. The guy who shouldn't have even played in the game is literally the difference on all three goals....
Vancouver is going to win the Cup i.e. Next season can't come fast enough

Pretty arrogant talk considering how they haven't won one Cup yet in their smug and pathetic 40 year history in the NHL.
They're on their way, but it's not over yet.

Did you like it in the 2002 playoffs?

Here's the thing, people should know better than to stick their fingers in a killer whale's mouth, they have big teeth and he was lucky to come away with nothing more than a flesh wound. Tonight Burrows did much much worse and bit himself off a bear paw, thus leaving Boston to limp back home for game #3

I think it was assumed nearly any team coming out of the West would handle the Eastern Champs, especially the Bruins. The Bruins are the Canucks sans offense. Which is to say: the Bruins are a team held together by a goaltender who is great right up until they choke ferociously. Canucks held serve, and it will be interesting to see if Luongo still has some weak ones left in him. If not, congrats, you've won your first cup in 40 seasons, pat yourself on the back
The funniest thing about this is your thinly veiled inferiority complex that beckons you to come post on a RED WINGS board about the Canucks. Its appropriate that you sound EXACTLY like a CHICAGO BLACKHAWKS fan. Enjoy your "dynasty" haha.

You sound like Penguins fans after they won in 2009. Plus Vancouver hasn't won anything yet, it isn't a series until the Home team loses a game.Don't be looking too forward to next season though, Canucks will still have most of their crew for the next few years so chances are good you'll witness your nightmare all over again as the Nucks make it two in a row
Yea what's the deal? What I don't understand are these Canucks' fans on here hated so much on their forum they have to come to a forum that they are not even playing the team?
Red Wings
Tigers
Roughriders
Lions

That said the Bruins on the ice must've had cement pored in their skates for the start of OT as Burrows flew by them all.
Bruins had their chances on the pp; had they been able to score on just a few of them - this series would be different...Canucks may very well hoist the Cup in Boston.

^ This post sounds eerily similar to those Chicago fans AFTER they won cup. Canucks haven't won anything yet and are already proclaiming "two in a row" victory -- The Canucks aren't even that impressive compared to some of the other more recent SCF teams.
Instead of "CORE", it's "CREW". Haha!

What a homer. NOBODY has won 2 cups in a row since the Wings in 97 and 98 and in fact nobody has made it back to the finals after winning the Cup in that period but the Wings.
You do realize that your team came within 1 bounce of not making it out of the first round don't you? An OT win in game 7 in the first round is all that separates the Canucks from a first round failure.
There is lots of luck required to win the cup. Even if you have the best team. To say your team will get the bounces again is just stupid.

They have incredibly smug fans for a franchise that has accomplished nothing in its s***ty 40 year history.
Can you imagine how these clowns will act if they actually win one? We'll never hear the end of it.

This is why nobody wants Vancouver to win the Cup.

Smug are the "fans" of teams that have a relatively successful history telling fans of another team how they should act when their team is being successful.
The reality is the fans have little to nothing to do with the outcome of the games, so as self assured and arrogant as many Wings fans can be they really have no reason to be that way.
Wings fans merely support a team that had the likes of Yzerman, Lidstrom, Fedorov, Shanahan, Hull, Chelios, Larionov, Robitaille, Rafalski, Zetterburg, Datsyuk, Hasek....etc...etc...etc over the last 15 seasons.
Why not let Vancouver fans enjoy their success? It's not as though the Wings were affected by the Canucks at all this season.
As for those saying the Canucks aren't even a good SCF team or potential winner. That's ridiculous. No team, not even the Wings has finished first in GF/GA, points and PP% in the same season since the 1970s.
Sure the Canucks almost lost to Chicago, but the reality is they did not lose. One could say the Wings almost beat SJ, but that would be a pretty pointless conversation.
If I was a Wings fan I'd be happy with my team's success over the last few years but I wouldn't cut down my opponent's success in a fit of bitterness as I wouldn't see the point in being negative long after my team had wrapped up their season and hit the lynx.

No, the problem is the fans that come on a forum where their not even playing the team and acting that way.
