How is Bieksa fake? He fought Marleau and the heavweight knockout artist Stalberg. I heard he even wanted to challenge Semin and Filppula at the same time to show how tough he really is.

Bieksa should change the name on the back of his sweater to SPOTPICKER. Way to go Bruins! 2 more to go!

Anybody else hear Le Pierre say that there were 10,000 or so fans hanging out in the Vancouver arena...and when Luongo was pulled, they cheered.

LOVE it!

It was great, the cbc broadcast panned to Rogers arena and the fans were clapping when Lou got pulled

I'm surprised they weren't all saying "LOOOOOOOOO". They say that for everything else he does.

Make a save, "LOOOOO"
Stop a 50 foot shot, "LOOOOOOO"
Stop the puck behind the net, "LOOOOOOOO"
Get a drink from his water bottle, "LOOOOOOO"

Ridiculous

Marchand flipping Sedin was hilarious.

So much to like about Game 4. Thomas punching Burrows in the head. Marchand flipping Ashley Sedin. The Bruins smacking the Canucks around for all 3 periods. Luongo crapping the bed especially on that last goal. Vancouver has only scored 5 goals in 4 games. Boston has to like their chances if they keep playing their aggressive up-tempo attack game. The Canucks do not have the time and space to set up their offense and they players collectively look scared to be hit. The Bruins have shut down the Canuck power play and their forward depth is showing right now. Horton gets hurt and Peverley steps in and scores 2 goals. The Canucks lack that shutdown #1 dman ala Chara which is once again hurting them in the playoffs.

The tide can turn from game to game but to me, the Canucks have to raise their level of play like the Bruins have in Games 3 and 4. They went from being careful and passive to being physical and aggresive. The winner of Game 5 should win this series. Of course we all know that winning game 5 doesn't necessarily mean you'll win it. I like how the Bruins are playing right now. I will admit that I never gave them much of a chance heading into this series but I am very happy to be wrong.

I think just about anyone could have had Tim Thomas for a song in the offseason. A 68-year-old goaltender with that contract? Remember when they lost the first two games in the Montreal series and all the Habs fans were wondering if they'd be seeing Tukka Rask?

But he's been the best player in the series and I don't see them making it this far without him.

I'm told that when a series is tied 2-2 the winner of game 5 wins the series like 70-80% of the time which statistically makes sense. Looking at just a 50-50 shot like a coin flip, the probability of winning 1 game is 1/2, the probability of winning 2 games is 1/2 x 1/2 or 1/4 which is 25%. But I learned from the '09 finals, anything can happen no matter how improbable.
Do or do not. There is no try

Well since you failed to read the fact (or chose to ignore) he wasn't going to have his priorities elsewhere before game 3 (and before game 2 if I recall) I would say you are goading him.

You've never appeared to be one to make light-hearted remarks towards people.

Konnan: Bieska (seewhatididthere?) didn't challenge Marleau. Just sayiiinnnn

Thomas has looked good but he sure does give up a lot of rebounds that I think the Nucks are not getting to. They skate past the net too much instead of stopping in front and hounding the loose puck a la Homer.

point being: coin flip means uncorrelated random variables. and cup series games are everything but uncorrelated ;)
