It was game 5 of their series in 2002. I was there, but I don't know of any video.

What a team we had back in 2002. Miss the days of the Grind Line. I never realized how much I really liked McCarty, Draper, and Maltby until they all retired :( They were such a pivotal part of our defense. Especially our penalty kill.

What a playoff warrior. Did he block MacInnis' shot? Geez... The chant was great too.

You should be awarded a medal for blocking one of MacInnis' shots. It's like the equivalent of taking a bullet for your goalie.

Man, that made me cry a little. How I remember that so clearly. I am going to miss those guys.
"It is a lot easier to be an ******* to words than to people"-xkcd

Tootoo does NOT belong on this team. He is classless and I would rather see the Wings be bad than classless. I feel the same way about Bertuzzi as well, but he at least CAN make the team better. With Tootoo the team becomes worse and in danger of being classless. Would you have liked Claude on the team? Or Roy? No. So why would you be okay with that POS.

Easily among the top three individual PK performances in recent Wings history (see: Helm, Hank). I was out of my seat when this happened. Absolutely fantastic.

I taped it as it happened on VHS. A few years ago when I got a DVD burner, I put it on DVD.
