Datsyerberger 279 Report post Posted May 29, 2011 And some people said he had no future. Must have practiced his Russian with Datsyuk. Not much, just a few important words like "skate" "puck" "goal" "stick" "f***" "s***" "dammit". 2 heretic69 and sputman reacted to this

Vladifan 680 Report post Posted May 30, 2011 What is very wild about this is that we were just there about a week and a half ago. It was one of the cities we stopped to visit during a Russian river cruise. It's really a pretty city, with a beautiful large park. The Volga River meets up with another one (?!) right off its shores. And if he needs to get religion he won't have a problem. We saw lots of churches, and most of 'em were stunning to look at. But I must admit I'm a wee bit pissed since he never called. Then again, maybe the timing was bad?
Echolalia 2,961 Report post Posted May 30, 2011 sweet! that just made my day, chelios new assistant coach please While I hope it happens at some point, right now I don't think its time. It might be odd for some of the guys to all of a sudden be taking orders and executing plays designed by the guy who was the 6th/7th defenseman on their team only a couple years ago. Maybe in a few years though. Hell, he could get some AHL coaching experience between now and then if its something he's genuinely interested in.

Vladifan 680 Report post Posted June 1, 2011 I'm just learning how to add photos on here, so bear with me. But these are pics of what I'm guessing is an outdoor rink in Yaroslavl. I have NO idea if they have an indoor one, but they must have because of the weather?! I will try to throw a couple more on here of the area itself. It's really pretty there. At least what we saw.... Vladifan 680 Report post Posted June 1, 2011 Here's the park I mentioned earlier that's right off the shore in this city. The Volga and Some Other River meet right there. Go figure, eh?! There were some beautiful churches too, but I guess I won't throw 'em in here.
