Heard this hockey story on the way home from work today, on of all places NPR:

When the Chicago Blackhawks won the Stanley Cup last year, it ended a 49-year drought for the city. But one historic piece from that victory is still missing almost a year later: the game-winning puck. Theories have percolated over the past year about where the puck had gone, and now the Chicago Tribune has found photos showing that a linesman for the game was the last known person to touch the puck. Michele Norris speaks with reporter Chris Kuc of the Chicago Tribune about the mystery of the missing puck — and what the new photos show.

ESPN did a nice piece about this earlier this year that went pretty indepth, I believe they even wouldn't allow the ref being questioned call in the playoffs due to all of the schemes. I believe it was Miller?

That was almost a year ago, dude.

It popped up again because the Chicago Tribune two days ago published their "findings" complete with photos of the Linesman picking up the puck: Link

Old news, but they suspended the linesman who was accused of taking the puck. Any news on the outcome of that?

Steve Miller is officiating the SC Finals again this year.
