Ted Lindsay award. Awesome.

Tootoo does NOT belong on this team. He is classless and I would rather see the Wings be bad than classless. I feel the same way about Bertuzzi as well, but he at least CAN make the team better. With Tootoo the team becomes worse and in danger of being classless. Would you have liked Claude on the team? Or Roy? No. So why would you be okay with that POS.

Does anyone know what Kevin Smith said about Vancouver before presenting the Norris? Versus bleeped it out.

#NHLAwards Just saying, Ted Lindsay trophy is the best looking trophy ever. Ian doesn't deserve anything, goon.

Thank you Nick. Well deserved.

From now on, Patrick Roy will be rolled out to and from the Avs' bench like Hannibal Lecter. - BottleOfSmoke

Yay, Nick!!! SUCH a class act!! And here's to Martaaahn Saaant Loueeee for winning too!

As for Ian LaPerriere, he should have apologized to Nicky while he was up there. Did he not look like an aging reject from a street gang?

And Perry??!! :puke: But it was a relief to see that he does actually have a mom and dad.

"He even ate with women who at that time were accorded the same status as the family donkey. Are we willing to break bread with, say, child sex slaves, transgender teens and undocumented workers? Because when Jesus comes back to Earth, that's where he'll be hanging."
You can easily judge the character of a man by how he treats those who can do nothing for him.

Was Rinne even nominated for a Hart trophy?

He meant more to his team than anyone else. With their offensive roster, they wouldn't have even made the playoffs without Rinne.

Perry isn't even the best or most important player on his team.
According to my profile, my reputation is excellent. LOL.

Is there a kickstarter campaign for Jakub Kindl to never play another NHL game?

Lidstrom edged Shea Weber of the Nashville Predators 736-727 in the closest race for first place since 1996, when Chicagoís Chris Chelios finished five points ahead of Bostonís Ray Bourque, 408-403. With Lidstrom, Weber and third-place Zdeno Chara of the Boston Bruins receiving similar first-place vote totals (Lidstrom 35, Weber 32, Chara 33) and the trio separated by just 48 points, this marks the tightest three-way race for the Norris Trophy since its introduction in 1954.

2010-2011 Norris Trophy Voting Pts. 1st-2nd-3rd-4th-5th

1. Nicklas Lidstrom, DET 736 (35-23-34-15-10)
2. Shea Weber, NSH 727 (32-41-14-14-8)
3. Zdeno Chara, BOS 688 (33-24-24-20-10)

Didn't get to see the awards but heard the good news

"All done? Five bucks." - Pavel Datsyuk after an interview
"Very few cities in the NHL have the history or the following of the Detroit Red Wings." - Steve Yzerman

BTW, Yzerman was robbed for best GM.

Tampa's run was more surprising than Vancouver's, and their team ultimately took bigger leaps this season with less assets.

The entire show looked like a Vancouver suckfest, so I guess we couldn't expect any less.

Now we need #5 to get Stanley Cup #5.

If anyone has found a good version of his acceptance speech that'd be great.
