They get their panties twisted in a bunch anytime one of the glorious Canadiens are injured in a malicious attempt to destroy the Quebecois culture. Had it been the other way around and a Hab had nearly decapitated a Bruin player, there'd be no police investigation, no Air Canada outrage. Unless Chara wrote in his diary he was going to attempt to take his head off on that specific portion of glass that sticks out, the MTL police can't do anything about it. Right, all Chara or his lawyer has to do is mention the glass that sticks out, and how arenas are different, and there's no case. Also, I think this was the reason why there was no suspension.
