Holland had over $22m to spend this year. He has spent nearly $10m of it and the team is still worse off than it was last season. Horrible, horrible, horrible!

Like I said, a NMC or NTC makes this a horrible deal, with one it might just be a bad deal.
Whatever, I am going to bed. Maybe the bad dream will end and we can start making the league scratch their heads by making a deft move, not a dumb one.
lol a NTC/NMC would sink this. my only shred of hope is that he plans on dealing him this offseason and has a plan set up already with a team.... someone mentioned that some lesser teams need to reach the cap floor and this would help.... but still thats not likely at all.

My biggest question is:
Did he consult Babcock prior to signing this vomit-inducing contract? I mean, Babcock has benched Ericsson repeatedly over the years, I can't imagine him being too thrilled about this....perhaps even "pissed off".

I think everyone just wants you to admit that Holland failed big time today.
You can't excuse it based on his great track record.
I think it's an awful signing. I don't even want Ericsson on the team. But I also think that it's a small signing. He didn't throw away a huge amount of money. Ericsson got maybe $1.5m more than he should have gotten.

With so many holes to fill on this team, I simply can't fathom how you can view this as a "small" signing.

Then, we moved on to hoping the numbers were wrong. Dream crushed.
Now, we're left clinging to a thread that there's a sign-n-trade in works. We're desperate, we is.
Now I lay me down to sleep, I pray the lord my sanity to keep, if Rig's still a Wing when I awake, I pray some sucker team this contract will take. A-frickin-men.
