Even at 3.25 a year, inflatted now won't be as bad with cap raises.
Also, who would we fill the spot with better?
Everyone who had to trade away rights couldn't sign their guy for this much.
E will be good at 5th and hopefully move up, wtg Kenny, now you can focus on tomorrow.

I did a quadruple take the first time I read it.
This can't possibly be right. I know he's a Wings guy, but if we're going to overpay, overpay for someone who has done something. At some point we need to realize that we can spend a little money on FA's who aren't 36+ and/or lifetime Wing's players.

Youve gotta be kidding me. Holland sits on his hands all offseason than signs the 6 foot 3 pylon to a deal like that? Are you kidding me? The wings were ganna be a better team letting him walk, and thats what we all thought was ganna happen, than we sign him for a ridiculous cap hit? Man ket the kid walk and see he cant get anything on the market outside of Toronto. If this is an accurate cap hit than Holland needs to quit drinking and soon...

3.25 million a year is absolutely ridiculous for a 5th or 6th defenseman... i do not understand this one.. sign and trade? follow in san joses steps?
