You may not like tough hockey, but it's winning hockey.

Hudler+Ericsson to a team that needs to reach cap floor for a defenseman, than we pick up Ian White. Thats the best situation possible I could see happening.

My favorite part of free agency is when fans assume every available player wants to sign with them and when they don't it's obviously the GMs fault.

Ian White is a cancer. Sorry to people that have cancer, but he's 100 per cent not what the Wings need as a #2-3 D.

I hate to admit it, but we're probably down to Kaberle on a one-year deal.

I guess for the money we are paying him this is an ok deal. I would have rather seen us let go of Eaves and Miller and pursue someone a little bit better but like Eaves he fills his role pretty good and hopefully he can improve over the course of the two seasons.

I am glad eaves and miller got re-signed for multi year. But hudler must go to improve this team. I am so disappointed not getting wiz or monty, holland must have a plan, right? I would hope this is not it, just re-signing our guys and no changes, that is not his plan, is it?

Yea, its called off-season plan D

Much like the Eaves signing... Makes me satisfied but doesn't really make me want to jump around with glee...
