Darren Dreger says that Heatley's NMC is of the "modified" variety. He had to submit a list of 10 teams he wouldn't accept a trade to. Minnesota was not on the list.Heatley has a NMC, so I am assuming he had to have approved it.

Well, Minnesota is cold and is not a contender. The Sharks are definitely getting better with the addition of Burns and now with this trade (although Setogucci certainly will be missed). To be completely honest, I thought there was a slim chance that "NEATLY" was a minor-leaguer that I had not heard of in which case the team that got Havlat would have won the deal.
Upon reading the thread, my jaw has still not returned to its normal, upright and locked position for takeoff.
My money on the board pledge:
$1 for each goal scored by a player after whom I have named a hamster.
An additional $5 for each hat trick scored by a player after whom I have named a hamster.
An additional $10 if any of the above goals is the GWG goal that gives us the series win.
An additional $50 if it is the GWG that wins us the Cup.
$5 for a SO by Jimmy.
Hamsters' names (current players in RED): Henrik Pavel Tomas Nicklas Dominik
Niklas Matthieu Daniel Robert
Johan Andreas Valtteri Jonathan
Andrew Patrick Ian Todd
And introducing: Jordin Damien Gustav James
TOTAL SO FAR: $36

I must admit, pretty exciting to be a fan os the Sharks, Doug Wilson always making a big trade. Now Hollands on the other hand...

I'd say that this worked out pretty Neatly for Havlat.

Why isn't Kenny making a push for guys like these? I mean im not against what he is doing but i think it would be awesome to see another talent come in via trade, and perhaps we will see one. :S

Yeah, I'll take the GM that wins cups, not the GM who has never even gotten to the finals.

I wonder what 10 teams Heatley didnt want to go to? I would have thought Minn would have been on that list.
