Cruiser008 37 Report post Posted August 3, 2011 Puck Daddy chats with Pavel Datsyuk about injury rehab, Lidstrom and Holmstrom retiring, Red Wings realignment, NHL Awards Interesting interview as always. The one thing that concerns me is that his wrist is still not yet fully healed. 1 Triple Deke reacted to this
fixxxer 11 Report post Posted August 3, 2011 I love his sense of humor "I decided that those two should room together so that we'd have only one goalie alive after that first night." and "Maybe I will apply some heat to it by laying on the beach." Great article!
Guest Jordan Baker Report post Posted August 3, 2011 Awesome interview. Datsyuk is an all around class act.
Travis 576 Report post Posted August 3, 2011 Good interview. I knew Datsyuk was intelligent and quick-witted, but it's nice to see it in writing. Of all the individual trophies you have not won, which one would you most like to win?"I have so many of them that I haven't won. I think I would most like to win a trophy to the best goaltending duo."
NeverForgetMac25 483 Report post Posted August 3, 2011 I want to know what the joke was that Dats told the interviewer.

wings_fanatic 677 Report post Posted August 4, 2011 Great interview, personally almost cried when he said he thinks Nick and Homer are retiring after this year. I've known it has been coming, but even when the actual day comes, I will be speechless. I truly wish we could develop some sort of ageless magic power so Nick, Pavs and Homer could stay young forever...
BlakKy 58 Report post Posted August 4, 2011 Best part is how he wants to win an Art Ross. Stay motivated Pavs.
Jusek 437 Report post Posted August 4, 2011 (edited) How could someone not like Pavel? Skilled hockey player with great sense of humor, great combination. Edited August 4, 2011 by Jusek
Kira 451 Report post Posted August 4, 2011 I know how he feels about the sprain hurting a long time...I'm going through the same thing right now. A couple weeks of doing absolutely nothing would be a good thing. Soak up the sun, my friend, and be lazy as hell. You earned it. 1 rage reacted to this
jeff48109 474 Report post Posted August 4, 2011 One has to wonder how much bigger will his star be if English was his native language, the media in N America would love him so much more.
Red Wings Addict 787 Report post Posted August 4, 2011 One has to wonder how much bigger will his star be if English was his native language, the media in N America would love him so much more. Well the fact that he's Russia or just plain Non-North American already puts him at a popularity disadvantage.

Mickey Redmond has hinted he can speak and understand a lot better than we think, but he plays with the media.
