Kira 451 Report post Posted August 17, 2011 They have added two extra days to training camp in Traverse City. It will now run from September 17-22. The two extra days are morning skates, with the starting time to be determined. Tickets each day are $10 per person. I've no idea why the two extra days have been added, but I don't care. Dimaline312000 51 Report post Posted August 17, 2011 The 21st and 22nd the Wings have Pre-season games and they wanted to be able to have a morning skate on the days of the games and they just figured they'd do it there since they were up in TC already anyways. I heard that a few weeks ago. They didn't really add the two extra dates until about the Development Camp they had in July which really sucks because I would have loved to been able to go to it all but becasue family can't add anymore time to there days off request it won't work for us. If you can manage it I would encourage it, it's only $10 from what I hear and it's two extra days to see the Wings. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

They want to be able to know where they can assin players based on where they want them to be this coming season. I would expect that most or all the newest players will go back to Juniors or wherever until it's time for them to come to GR. Looks like it's going to be a great camp!! Can't Wait!!
