With Draper gone, should the Wings go back to having 2 alternate captains, or should they maintain 3? If they should maintain 3, who would you like to see as the 3rd alternate?

Agreed. Kronwall has by all accounts taken on more of a leadership role with the team. Might as well get him in on the alternate rotation now as he is likely to get an 'A' permanently next season anyways once Nick retires.

Hank, Pavs, and Kronner are very good choices, so I feel like 3 alternates in this instance is warranted.

I like having three alternates, and would like to see the 3rd A go to Kronwall. I also think Stuart, Cleary, or possibly Helm (though he's young) would be good choices

I don't like the idea of 3 alternates.

That being said, unfortunately Pav and Z may miss a game or two. So if that does occur, on that occasion I say give it to Kronwall.

Nothing wrong with having just Pavel and Hank as alternates.

A-Franzen

Just curious, but why Franzen and Bertuzzi? My guess would be Cleary, Stuart and probably even Filppula would all get the 'A's' in some order in a situation where it was warranted.

Stuart purely (against my pro euro bias) because they need a NA Alt Captain I believe Stuart deserves the third.

Helm is a great player and seems like a great guy, but he has the non-hockey intelligence of a brick and that's an insult to a brick... also, he has NEVER struck me as a natural leader, but instead, a great soldier... that's not necessarily a bad thing, he fills a great role, I love his work ethic and style of play and I hope he's a Wing for life... but I don't know how anyone would ever think Helm would or should wear any letter in the Winged Wheel...

It's not Helm's time yet. Kid has the guts for it but needs to earn it. My vote is for Cleary. He's always a workhorse.
