It's also never a good idea to be two feet from the boards when someone is coming to check you. I can see two min there, but five is ridiculous.

Exactly, he's a rookie so that explains why he'd put himself in such a vulnerable position. But for a seasoned ref to then call the penalty, and not just a minor but a major, I'm perplexed. But it's the preseason so I dont care, but come opening night that s*** happens I'm gonna be swearing like a pirate for a couple of pages of the GDT :ph34r:

Brunner, no need to get too fancy, but I am liking Hudler and Brunner being on the same line with Johnson. Two offensive talents with one of the better defensive players in the league.
