aweful

Full of awe, or could inspire enough awe to fill. Despite sounding like awful, it means quite the opposite.

White was a beast yesterday. Is it a coincidence he played with Lidstrom or is he really that good?

I watched 2 periods of the game last night and Ericsson looked fine to me. Kindl did well too.

Anyone know where I can find highlights?

Ian White will post career high numbers this season, I'm sure of it. To me his game suits this organisation perfectly, and if he's playing with Lids for a significant portion of the season, he'll post good numbers.

Ken Holland: Hes (Mursak) a young guy, provides energy, can skate, hes a puck hound.

I was at the game, from what I saw:
Lidstrom is still a beast, wouldn't be surprised if he wins the Norris again.
Filpula has dramatically stepped his game up.
Pearce was a God during the shootout.
Ericsson does not deserve a roster spot.
But my most coveted thing is a high self-esteem
And a low tolerance for them telling me how to lean
See the most important parts are the ones that are unseen
The Wings don't make you fly and the Crown don't make you king
Now God don't like ugly, ain't too happy bout pretty
I am ignorance's enemy so stay out of the vicinity of...

The boxscore at NHL.com is not up.
Curious who got assists.
Red Kelly #4 and Larry Aurie #6 belong in the rafters!!!

You guys just officially got the Ericsson-loathing blood flowing again. I am so flabbergasted by his contract, especially after his horrendous play against San Jose. If he doesn't have a 180 degree turn around, we officially have one of the highest paid, most useless 7th defenseman in the league. Chris Chelios would probably bring similar skills to the table and we could pay him 600k.

There's my first Ericsson rant for the season...
