Well, Mursaks out at least 6-8 weeks...
Fractured Left Ankle, damn that sucks. I was hoping he could go for one of those forward spots well now we'll see who will make the team.

Agreed, though this is my first time actually noticing him. Can he contribute on a nightly basis?nyquist looks great. Just gotta get that finishing touch. he could have 2-3 goals this game

He made a nice play at the blueline to keep it in the offensive zone. Then unfortunately he followed it up with a bad pinch and got caught out of the play. That's a patent Brendan Smith giveaway. Get use to it, it's what he does... often. I hope he because what we all hope he's suppose to be capable of, but I'm not that high on him. He;s a giveaway machine.

I don't see him on the fourth line, but he could play there. iMO Conner is closer to the last spot because his speed matches with Helm and Eaves the best.brunnstrom may be a beneficiary of the Mursak injury.

the big thing with brunnstrom i think, is the amount of potential he has.I don't see him on the fourth line, but he could play there. iMO Conner is closer to the last spot because his speed matches with Helm and Eaves the best.

I honestly thought you would like Smith. Like many of the forwards you do like, he has an immense amount of raw skill. Smith just needs some time to put it together before making the jump. That's a patent Brendan Smith giveaway. Get use to it, it's what he does... often. pretty please keep it up.
Nyquist looks good carrying the puck through traffic. Just having trouble finishing this game.

Ryan Johnson? Conner's already agreed to a two-way deal, so I think the Wings would prefer to just start him in Grand Rapids and keep someone else. But I'm usually wrong.

I don't think they want Helm to play wing, but I could be wrong. It is possible that Conner could get picked up on waivers, but it's unlikely this early in the season IMO. I see Johnson's tryout as more of a favor than anything else.Ryan Johnson?
