Leafs give up a '12 4th round pick for The Crosby Killer.

Just saw it on Sportscenter, not huge news but a decent depth move. 4th round pick going back to NJ.

Good deal for Toronto. Darryl Boyce and Joey Crabb were assigned to the AHL yesterday, i believe. It appears Mike Brown has solidified a spot on the 4th line with his solid play in the preseason. I suspect Steckel will center it, and Colton Orr and Jay Rosehill may possibly rotate.

$1.1 million seems steep for most 'depth guys'. Maybe they hope he develops chemistry with a Kadri or Lombardi or someone. The Leafs are pretty close to the cap already without being a probable playoff team, so they may be looking to dump someone off themselves.

IMO they need Boyce/Crabb more than Rosehill on the roster anyway but it's not my team.

Pens should have him instead. Just to make sure 'the incident' wont happen again if you-know-who plays again. After all, they keep Cooke for the exact same reason.

It's never a bad idea to have some spares especially with Connolly and Lombardi on your roster. Centers can often play wing unlike the other way round. Red Wings usually ice 5-6 centers.

Last i heard was that Zetterberg's beard was paying alimony to Crosby's mom for making Crosby his *****.

Tootoo does NOT belong on this team. He is classless and I would rather see the Wings be bad than classless. I feel the same way about Bertuzzi as well, but he at least CAN make the team better. With Tootoo the team becomes worse and in danger of being classless. Would you have liked Claude on the team? Or Roy? No. So why would you be okay with that POS.
