I feel like they are giving Eaves an extra day to rest the ankle. They're also showing Brunnstrom that they aren't handing him anything

That fourth line looks brutal. Looks like we'll essentially be rolling three lines, with Miller thrown in once and a while.

So excited for hockey to finally be here, but I may miss it after all which sucks. I'd miss tomorrow's game, too.

yes, the 4th line is bad but i am glad to see homer finally be utilized correctly, as a PP specialist.

stick him on the 4th line even strength and throw him in front of the net on the PP.
You may not like tough hockey, but it's winning hockey.

interesting lines for the game.

Huds and Datsyuk together on the 1st line. Hudler probably played his best hockey last year while playing with Datsyuk, and yeah, I understand that pretty much anyone is going to play their best hockey with him on the ice, but it'll be interesting to see how they can possibly mesh tonight and going forward. and Agreed as others have mentioned, that 4th line looks a little weird lol, oh well though that's not going to be the normal bottom 6 with Eaves and Brunnstrom out tonight.

If the WIngs win 17-0, Hudler will have 18 goals.

And 4 assists, but somehow manage to be -6.

As lame of a post as this is, I'm so happy hockey is back! Can't wait for tonight!
It's amazing how much clarity comes when you care more about the Red Wings than any individual player.

"They are the best team in the world. They are a team that can just take over when they want to," Chicago's Patrick Kane said (of the Detroit Red Wings).

I'll say 4-1 Wings.

For those of us Canadian Wings fans, Sportsnet East is showing the game.
Lets Go:
Red Wings
Tigers
Roughriders
Lions
Spartans
Pistons
