Let's clean it up on D and take it to 2-0 one the season while spoiling Forsberg's night. Another 5 goals of offense would be nice. I think White is gonna be the big fantasy hockey sleeper stud this year.

Yesterday's bottom six was

Abdelkader - Helm - Bertuzzi

Holmström - Emmerton - Miller

Babcock said he wants to play Eaves and Brunsström so it'll be interesting to see what he's going to do. Before the Sens game I would've said that it's Miller and Emmerton who sit but they were two of the best forwards in that game.

Started the season off by going to the home opener last night and can't wait to see what we do against the Avs. It's great to be a Detroit fan right now, but I really need PIP because I'm going to be switching back and forth between the Tigers and the Wings. Hope to see a more complete 60 minute effort out there tonight. GO WINGS! GO TIGERS!

P.S. Definitely a nice touch having Rusty and Beast in the game day banner. Do I also spot poor Mursak in the injury banner? You can just see the pain in his face.

how absolutely perfect that on Peter Forsberg jersey retirement night their opponent is the Red Wings. Now, let's see the guys ruin the night and take a 3-0 or 4-1 win. Who knows...maybe honor the old rivalry with a couple scraps? A guy can dream, go Wings!

All I want is a win, boys, but I would love a full 60 as well.

I would like to see:

-A bit more Datsyuk magic than last night.

-Flip buries one of his chances, he's played well.

-Franzen starts to play like Franznen.

-Bit more discipline form White, and no more kicking in own goals!

-Helm shorty.

-Stay healthy

LGW!!!
