Conklin wasn't great. But what concerns me more is that our offense just disappeared the past two games. No one can complete a pass and it seemed like there were 6 Columbus skaters out there at all times. Dirty, dirty loss.

10 in 2...actually 10 in 3 games...these last two loses were a team effort, I didn't see all 10 goals, I am sure they weren't all bad ones...

I hate to be "that guy" but honestly I'd say most of the 7 goals in the Washington game were ones Conklin should have had with routine saves. Tonight...they were of questionable quality. He looked really uncomfortable out there. He'll bounce back but we need to roll with Howard a bit to distance Conklin from these losses.

i think they're all funny. maybe i am going crazy. i will continue to watch the wings every game but never expect much from them.

Agreed.

It's not just the giving up 11 goals in two games, but that they only scored two. And those were from Helm and Kronwall (on a 5 on 3).

....Conks has been around for a while, he'll do what he needs to do and bounce back. I felt he started to look more comfortable in the third also. Dats looks like a frustrated man out there as well, he appears to be getting pushed down and hacked at A LOT so far and his face shows it. I just hope he chanels it well, slew footing isnt cool.

EDIT: Please play Hudler with Dats and Z (or Flip or Mule anyone but Cleary to be honest) I would like to see Cleary with Abby, Bert or Helm.

Geez...I paid money, not much, but money to watch this game in person from the 7th row and I'm pretty unaffected by the loss. These games happen. The Jackets are a better team than their record indicates and we didn't come with it tonight. It happens.

Wings Nation showed up as usual. Just didn't have a reason to make much noise.

Everytime I go to Nationwide, I have ten great conversations with Jackets fans and meet one *******.

Sometimes teams play bad games. You all know this by now. I don't know why some of you can't live by it. If you really need inspiration, think back to the several times that the Stanley Cup-winning '07-'08 Red Wings squad lost to the then-lowly Blackhawks.

The Wings didn't look good, but it seemed that when Mo seemed to be turning the Refs would either A. Let a dirty play by CBJ go, or B. Call something chincy on the Wings.

You must not have been sitting anywhere near where I was. I took my autistic Bro in Law (Jackets fan in Jackets colors) got obscenities yelled at me by a little kid whose parents high fived him, got mocked by Cleetus and Eugene the backwoods hill billies, and there was a couple behind me who had the Winged Wheel on who got showered with beer along with Bro in Law (Try explaining that to the Mother in Law and Wife) and I because the Wings fans and I high fived during Helms goal. And the usher's reaction "*shrug* s*** happens"....

All I could do is remind myself that I am blessed to be a member of one of the classier fanbases in the league. When I was in Detroit on Friday everyone around me good naturedly ribbed the Jackets fans in attendance, but were courteous and cordial. Grrrr. Bro in Law had fun aside from getting a hops and barley shower which was the only on a night.
