Moore has kept the whole thing going. Several years ago, he was offered a contract and turned it down. He could be playing right now, but he chooses to be a whine ass about the whole thing. He's in it for the money.Has he ended anyone's career? no.
Has Bertuzzi? yes.

Flyers general manager Paul Holmgren told TSN that Pronger saw an eye specialist at the arena. Pronger will be on bed rest for three to four days out of concern for possible blood pooling. The Flyers hope that Pronger will get back in two to three weeks depending on how the injury heals, and said that he will need to wear a visor to be cleared to play.
The team said that Pronger complained of blurred vision after the incident on Monday.
"I think he was very scared and rightly so," Holmgren told the Associated Press. "When something like that happens to your eye, you're worried about what's going on. I think he settled down over a period of time and was fine when he left."
"Finger-pointing is easy. In some cases, even therapeutic. Fans need to blame something,
because the outcome is so frustratingly out of their control."

But seriously, I hope this isn't serious. As much as I think he should be in jail (he would probably thrive their and love it anyway), he is a fantastic hockey player and I hope he gets to play for many many more years. The guy is just one heck of a complete defense-man, a respected adversary and rival, and a helluva leader with such a huge personality that I love to see in hockey. Get well soon chrissy poo!!!

False. Burke offered him a minor league contract when he wasn't even medically cleared to play, either just to taunt Moore or for the press and positioning for a lawsuit, so people will only remember "moore turned down a contract." Evidently it worked.Moore has kept the whole thing going. Several years ago, he was offered a contract and turned it down. He could be playing right now, but he chooses to be a whine ass about the whole thing. He's in it for the money.
Back on topic regarding Pronger, I hate the guy, but really just when the Wings are playing him. He got absolutely schooled a few nights ago when someone scored and I laughed out loud. He's basically a Chris Chelios. Talented player who has had several instances where he goes way over the line. Or for those who remember, he's like the player Harold Snepsts but with 10 times the talent. But I don't want him to lose an eyeball. The league is better with him in it. It needs villians and Pronger is a good one and a good player.

but god forbid elmo, jesus, lolcats, or steve yzerman himself offended someone though, cause you would be all over their ass... laughable
I'm 29, so you can cross out Elmo. I'm an atheist, so you can cross out Jesus. I don't think lolcats are particularly that funny, so you can cross that out too. If Steve Yzerman said something offensive, I'd be embarrassed as a fan. So you can cross that off too.
Well, I guess that leaves you with no point. Nicely done.

Update from NHL.com
http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=597339
Sounds like he's at least got partial vision in that eye now, and signs are pointing in the right direction for him. He'll be out 2-3 weeks though to evaluate the situation, and get that boy fitted for a visor.
-insert cheap joke about how he'll cheap shot even more whilst behind said visor-

Dismissing an injury to Pronger or saying you can't find sympathy is as classless or worse as the traits people here hate about Pronger. I can't stand the guy, but I would never wish a potential serious injury to any player.
Regardless of the past circumstances involving the Red Wings, I hope Pronger is fine.
x2
Said it better than I could.
I don't think anyone should ever be forced to wear a visor but eventually somebody is going to lose and eye.

I guess "physics" can be a real ***** sometimes, eh Chris? This is Prongers own fault for being too tall... If he was shorter, the stick wouldn't have hit him in the eye.
Seriously though as much as I hate the guy I would never wish a career-ending injury on anyone, even on a guy who tried to inflict one on Stevie. I hope the 2-3 weeks I heard he'd be out is true and it isn't anything more serious

Has he ended anyone's career? no.
Has Bertuzzi? no.
Fixed it for you. Bertuzzi didn't end anyone's career. Even forgetting that Bertuzzi's punch didn't break Moore's neck and that it was the dog pile that did the damage, Moore was still offered NHL contracts after the fact.
Pronger is a massive ****** and karma got him good, but for the sake of his family and well-being, I hope he does make a full recovery.

Exactly! How can anyone not find LOLCats funny?!haha one of these people who thinks they are the center of the universe, and ps, my comment went far above your head
So lets all agree on these things:
1. Pronger is a ******.
2. No one wants him to have a life altering injury...
3. ...unless it happens in some ironic way. (knee injury tripping over a stolen puck or something like that)
4. LOLcats are funny

I said I don't find them particularly funny. They're hackneyed, overused memes, but that doesn't mean that much like the proverbial blind squirrel, it fails to find a nut once in a blue moon.
Sorry my taste in humor is bit above "LOLZ CHEEZBURGERZ!"
