Just a thought...

I was listening to the Radio the other day and they were talking about CBJ and how Rick Nash cannot be happy playing there anymore especially after the start to this season, thena few min later they brought up the Wings saying how good we've started out this season and are in a great positin going into the season/trade deadline and off season with the extra cap space we have. so then i started thinking of how a legit sniper like Nash would rip it up playing with Dats or Z. If there were a chance at the Wings getting him what do you think it would cost? dont bite my head off just an idea

To CBJ - Filppula,Eaves,a prospect,2012 1st round pick,2012 4th round pick and conditional pick.......maybe ?

To Det - Nash

I would much rather trade for Parise or Semin.

Semin could be good, but why would Washington trade him? Let's think realistically here, Columbus is one of the only teams in the league that might be willing to trade away a big name, depending on the return, division rival or not.

Multiple picks seems excessive...but what about a 1st Round pick? The trouble is we don't have anything anyone wants, so we might have to dip into picks to get anyone. Flip + 1st Round? Or Flip + 2nd rounder?

The pick might not be a bad idea if Nash has a few years left on his contract. Plus, it allows Columbus to get another 1st round pick and continue rebuilding their team. Let's face it, we're going to have to overpay for a division rival, but we need a sniper badly enough.

Caps might deal Semin because i believe he might be a UFA after this season, maybe looking to dump him if they dont think they will get him signed, to me the Wings need a shooter BADLY, Franzen needs to be shooting alot more, but i do think Nash cant be happy with the Jackets especially after this many years.
