I love how in spite of how horrible and awful we are, we've all retained our senses of humor. To help us through the dark times, you see.

This thread is almost as good as the "Trade Zetterberg for Trevor Gillies" thread that I was planning later this season.

If it comes after a Wings loss and Z was sluggish, oh man I can only imagine the responses

LoL, panic mode after a losing two games of seven. Never in my life have I heard a sports analyst, or any sports reporter type, say being a new father effects performance. Howard is what....27? His body should be able to handle some nights of loss of sleep easily. Now if we are talking about Lidstrom, maybe OP's point would make more sense.

The OP should feel gratified at having made one of the dumbest posts ever on this forum. WOW.

Nailed it. Welcome.

Two losses and some fans have the desire to get younger, trade Zetterberg and find a new goalie.

Nick better pray for a win tomorrow.

A 3rd loss means sell the Red Wings and move them to Baghdad.

You'd think that when your number 1 goalie is unbeaten in the season it would imply that there shouldn't be goalie issues on the forums.

You'd think.

Steve Yzerman had 137 points in his 92-93 season and it dropped down to 82 points in 93-94, it has to be because he had that daughter of his! Nevermind him playing 30 games less and switching to a more defensive style. Damn those babies!

Yzerman's PPG actually had him on pace for 119 points, which would have been third behind Gretzky (130) and Fedorov (120).

I've got it! His injury clearly came as a result of sleep deprivation from baby-raising.

Howard's wife has had a baby.

Last year, Ozzie's wife had a baby.

The last time Conks was here, his wife had a baby.

Solid proof that even if you f*** around, Detroit will bring out the best in you.

ooooh baby, I love it when you talk dirty to me

No, no, no. Not only is Howard a new father, but apparently Conklin is IMPOTENT! We're doomed! :scared:

So Conklin isn't the father then. We got that going for us.

Hey, impotent men can still father children. You just take some Cialis and get to work.

Thus the "Nevermind him playing 30 games less" part of my original comment ;)
