10/29 GDT: Red Wings at Minnesota Wild

Solid defense.

+1

This team has some offensive kinks to work out for sure, but it's not like they're losing games 1-0 or 1-2. 7 goals to Washington, 4 goals to the lowly Bluejackets, and while 3 goals to the Sharks isn't terrible, Jimmy had to make some huge stops and the Thornton breakaway was a killer.

If they get the defensive system sorted out, this team can be scary good again.

More like the Wings as a team need to play better.

Correct. I thought Jimmy played pretty well last night, aside from his failure to score a goal. That might be better left to some other people I could mention.

Wings will win. No worries here!

Alright, the last game our big guns stepped it up like I wanted to but obviously that's not enough to win. Pretty much the way the Sharks series went in the playoffs. Here's to a full game effort from the whole team, not only from the big guns and the younguns, but all of em!

Red Wings 4 (Datsyuk, Helm, Franzen, Hudler)

Wild 2

LET'S GO RED WINGS!!!
