Regular season only.

Can't complain about the game, really (so I will take the next sentence as an opportunity to do so). They got way too passive after getting a couple goal lead, Avs were in control for pretty much the entire second half of the game. Oh well, guess you can afford to a lot more when scoring four goals than one.

You can always complain as far as I'm concerned.
According to my profile, my reputation is excellent. LOL.

Great game by Franzen. I hope this doesn't mean he won't score again for like 8 games.

And I hope in a month we won't say, "I'd kill for 8 games."

Long live the puns!

My puns are 2-0. I may have to retire them next game to save the good JuJu with them.

Jimmy Howard continuing to show that he's a top tier goalie in the NHL.
But my most coveted thing is a high self-esteem
And a low tolerance for them telling me how to lean
See the most important parts are the ones that are unseen
The Wings don't make you fly and the Crown don't make you king
Now God don't like ugly, ain't too happy bout pretty

He is indeed good.

One of you guys beat up John Keating? Looks like he has a bruised forehead and scratched up face.
The Vladinator He earned the NHL Plus/Minus Award in 1995-96, with a plus/minus difference of plus-60. The +60 has been the highest rating a player has finished with in the past 20 seasons, since Wayne Gretzky finished with a +70 in the 1986-87 NHL season

This must be your first game in 1080i HD. he always looks like that, unfortunately.

Nah, had HD for years. His make up artist must have the night off

He grabbed the octopus off the ice and threw it into his own bench.

so he boarded the octopus, proceeded to crosscheck it, then threw it on the bench?

Glad to see the Wings finally getting it together, we have a good shot though of gaining a game on Chicago since last I looked they were down 2-0 going into the 3rd.

Yeah but we both know Babs will break up that line if no other line is going well.

It's his second career regular-season hat trick.

That's dumb. Why would you separate playoffs in that? If it's in his career, playoff stats should be included. It's one thing to say he has X amount of whatever in the playoffs, but they should still be included in career stats.

What's wrong with this site tonight? Damn.

Avg amount of pages for all the wins not including tonight - 17. The losses? 20.667

That could be one way of knowing if the Wings won if you can't catch the game. If the pages are few, they probably won. Or at least, during the regular season that is.

Just got back from the Joe. Great game.
Note to self: Tossing the hat from 215, Row 8 is not going to make it anywhere close to the ice. Next time. But nice goin' Mule.

It's great to see the offense back, but my takeaway from this game is Jimmy. I know it's still early, but to me, this is the year he is over the hump. This is year you differentiate him from others. This is the year he makes us contenders. (If we get five goals every game now!! )

Have a good one everybody, cheers.

Great game to go to. Franzen ALWAYS scores when I'm there.

Also, I was so livid when I heard Franzen got the hat trick over the radio on the way home. I would have been so stoked to celebrate it as it happened.
