Not really, more like the puck got caught up in his feet as he recovered from his broken stick.

It was a pretty clear kicking motion, but since it then bounced off the defenseman and in, it's a good goal.Not really, more like the puck got caught up in his feet as he recovered from his broken stick.
The clip reminded me of Rocky IV

stevieisthebest, it was a good goal regardless of the fact of whether or not it was a kicking motion (which is wasn't anyway) given it then bounced off the defenseman's skate.
Sidenote: I was far more annoyed by the crappy music in the background than the video quality.

It's amazing how much clarity comes when you care more about the Red Wings than any individual player.
